Christopher J. Barwick, Big Hammer
Christopher J. Barwick (Chris) is the Enterprise Data Analytics Team Lead for Big Hammer, a division of Edgenet. There he manages data for Fortune 500 clients and oversees many multi-terabyte projects in both SQL 2005 and SQL 2008.
Because of these high profile projects and his passion for digging into new technologies, he is often engaged in early adopter programs with Microsoft. From a recent deep dive training at Microsoft on StreamInsight, a new product in SQL Server 2008 R2, to being an early adopter of the very first beta of the .NET Framework, Chris went on to start and run the largest F# Forum site http://www.hubfs.net. Craig Knighton
Craig is currently working with his new partners (Scott Colestock and Adam Henry) to found Marcato Partners, LLC – a new company dedicated to teaching software development organizations how to take advantage of Agile, distributed development, and automation to produce better products faster.
Until recently, Craig was the V.P. of Engineering at Gearworks building the next generation platform for development of mobile applications known as Appmosphere(TM). Prior to this, he was a Lab Manager at the 3M SEMS corporate lab and the V.P. Product Development for HighJump Software, a 3M Company where he focused on leading the development of platform technologies used across their product line. He also spent 3 years in Microsoft Consulting Services and 12 years with CyberOptics Corporation.
Throughout his career, Craig’s main passion has been shipping software products and he has been in just about every role related to the development of commercial software. He is an advocate of agile development processes and has employed them to manage software development around the world. If he’s not busy building software, then you’ll find him hard at work finishing his cabin.

Damon Payne is a life-long geek, Microsoft MVP, father, husband, audio/video nut, atheist, philosopher, wine drinker, and short order cook who lives in the unexplored swamps near Milwaukee.
